Thunderstore Overview
What is Thunderstore?
The R.E.P.O. modding community has centralized its mod hosting and distribution entirely on Thunderstore.io. The community chose Thunderstore because it seamlessly integrates with Mod Managers like the Thunderstore App, Gale Mod Manager and r2modman, allowing players to:
- Easily install mods.
- Sync identical mod setups with friends via profile codes.
- Automatically resolve technical dependencies.
Creating a Team on Thunderstore
If you want to publish your own R.E.P.O. mods, Thunderstore requires you to create a "Team," which acts as your permanent developer namespace for publishing mods.
How to set it up:
- Go to thunderstore.io and click "Login with..." at the top right to log in using a GitHub, Discord or Overwolf account.
- Click on your profile name at the top right of the window to open your account settings.
- Navigate to the "Teams" tab.
- Click the "Create Team" button.
- Type in your desired team name (using your standard username is recommended unless working with a group).
CAUTION
CRITICAL WARNING: Once you upload a mod under a specific Team, your Thunderstore team cannot be deleted or renamed, so choose your name wisely!
