Thunderstore Overview

What is Thunderstore?

The R.E.P.O. modding community has centralized its mod hosting and distribution entirely on Thunderstore. The community chose Thunderstore because it seamlessly integrates with mod managers like Gale, r2modman and the Thunderstore Mod Manager, allowing players to:

• Easily install mods.
• Sync identical mod setups with friends via profile codes or files.
• Automatically resolve technical dependencies.

Creating a Team on Thunderstore

If you want to publish your own R.E.P.O. mods, Thunderstore requires you to create a "Team," which acts as your permanent developer namespace for publishing mods.

Setting Up a Team:

1. Go to Thunderstore.io and click "Log In" at the top right. You can connect with an existing Discord, GitHub or Overwolf account.
2. Click on your profile at the top right of the page, and click "Teams".
3. Click the "Create Team" button at the left-hand side of the page.
4. Type in your desired team name (using your standard username is recommended unless working with a group).

WARNING

Once you upload a mod under a specific Team, your Thunderstore team cannot be deleted or renamed, so choose your name wisely!
